Comansa Flat-Top Cranes

All of Comansa’s horizontal-jib cranes feature the flat-top design, without pendant lines, making them easier to assemble and giving them a major advantage in projects that use several cranes at the same time.

Comansa’s range of flat-top cranes is made of up several series with highly interchangeable tower and jib sections, drastically increasing the configuration possibilities for customers, making rental fleets easier to manage and reducing investment costs. Comansa’s flat-top cranes have maximum loads ranging from 4 to 90 tonnes.


Comansa Luffing-Jib Cranes

Luffing-jib cranes are the best solution for projects with space limitations, either due to the presence of other cranes or buildings, or as a result of regulations that prohibit overhanging certain areas.

The luffing jib enables these cranes to work on sites, avoiding any elements that could be obstacles. Comansa’s luffing-jib cranes are included in the LUFFING family, with a wide variety of models and features. The maximum loads of these cranes range from 8 to 64 tonnes, meaning that there is a Comansa model suitable for every kind of project requiring a luffing-jib crane.



A luffing-jib crane is characterized by the ability to raise and lower its jib, which allows it to reduce the turning radius.

The Luffing Series includes Comansa’s entire range of luffing-jib tower cranes. This type of crane, the luffing-jib tower crane, is the best solution for very congested sites where there are buildings, other cranes or space limitations. Thanks to their luffing jibs, the tower cranes in Comansa’s luffing series offer optimal performance where horizontal-jib cranes are not able to move loads freely.

All Comansa’s luffing-jib tower cranes come with variable frequency in their slewing, hoist and luffing mechanisms to ensure safe and smooth movements.

A flat-top tower crane is characterized by having a compact head and a mobile cabin.

Comansa offers a full range of flat-top tower cranes. Their design without pendant lines, taken from the Linden technology, makes the flat-top tower cranes easier to assemble and results in major savings, especially on projects that have several cranes working at the same time.

Comansa’s modular system of flat-top tower cranes can be configured in a wide variety of ways to perfectly adapt to the needs of each project. Moreover, certain jib and counter-jib components can be assembled on different models of the same flat-top tower crane series for added versatility and savings in terms of rental fleets.

Comansa’s flat-top tower cranes come standard equipped with several systems to improve performance, such as the PowerLift system, which allows to improve the load chart by 10%, always without exceeding the rated load.
